In order to offer you the appropriate watch service, we request you to provide a list of your major competitors and/or specify the technology field which you are interested in. We assist you in designing your query or search profile. Your watch service starts by a retrospective search to find the 20 most recent references in the specified field.

We provide monthly reports containing abstracts in English of the new documents found in the technology field in which you are interested. Alternatively, we can attach the front page of said documents or on request we send you the whole published document. Ashmar provides a range of patent watch services:

1. Citation search: We let you know when any new patent cites the patent that you wish to survey. A citation search can contain documents cited by several patent authorities. This is an efficient way to isolate the new patents in a particular field of technology.

2. Keep yourself updated: Ashmar provides you with continuous information on the patenting activities of your competitors, or on the developments in certain fields of technology. You can choose to survey patents from one or several patent authorities. We can access patent databases covering practically all the industrialized countries around the world.
